Summary: Research notes and photocopies of reports and articles about the Territorial Prison at Yuma, which operated from 1875 to 1909. The photocopies include information such as lists of prisoners and staff, prison rules and regulations, excerpts of government annual reports about the prison, articles by others, and photographs copied from AHS and other institutions. H. Stuart Copeland was Historian for the second Arizona Rangers group when it reorganized in 1957. The Arizona Rangers were organized, 1901-1909, to combat organized banditry in Arizona Territory.
